How Supplemental Security Income Connects to Lifeline
Current SSI recipients typically qualify for Lifeline under program-based eligibility. A benefit award letter, statement of benefits, or other official Social Security Administration documentation is commonly used as proof when applying.
Good to know
Only one Lifeline discount is generally allowed per household. If multiple members of your household separately qualify, the benefit still applies once per household, not per person.
